Current Favorites List and Life Update
Hey Glam Fam! I've been dealing with some medical issues this last month but will hopefully be A-OK in the coming weeks. I am so blessed and honored to have reached 3000 followers on Instagram. I appreciate every single one of you. I will be doing a giveaway when I reach 5000 followers on Instagram. In order to qualify for my giveaway, you must be following me on instagram, subscribed to this site, and share this site to get 3 friends to subcribe and follow me as well. I will be checking. In the mean time, I want to get some more reviews, articles, and tutorials posted for you guys shortly. Finally, here is a list of my current favorite products.
-Jeffree Star Liquid lipsticks. Why? You apply them and forget about them. They don't transfer or wear off. You can eat, drink, and not worry about getting lipstick all over your cup or face. You can even kiss in them and not leave marks. Worth the $18 & has a wide range of colors, both natural/wearable and fashion colors. -Embryolisse Lait-crème concentré. This has always and always will be one of my favorite products. You'll see it backstage at every fashion show for a reason, this is a work horse product. You can use it as a moisturizer or a primer before makeup, or you can use it as a gentle makeup remover. I have sensitive skin and if I do multiple looks in a day the skin around my eyes hurt from wipes so this beauty is a godsend. -Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow products. I use quite a few but i get compliments on my brows daily. I swear by the Eye Brow Queen Anastasia, if Oprah and the Kardashians trust her with their brows, so will I. I start out with the Brow Primer Pencil. Next I outline and shade the inner brows with my Brow Wiz pencil. I then fill the rest of my brows with the Dip Brow Pomade with an angled brush. To finish, I run the Clear Brow Gel through them to set. If you're going to invest in good products, invest in your eyebrows, they frame your face and always make you look put together. -I have 2 favorite tools for applying makeup. I use the Original pink Beauty Blender to apply my face makeup. I use a damp one to apply my foundation and to blend out under eye concealer and the contour lines. Then I take a dry one, and dip it in Ben Nye Neutral Set to bake and set my foundation and concealer. For my eyes I swear by my sigma e25 blending brush. -Favorite dry shampoo is Amika. It is the best on the market and one of my favorite brands ever for everything. This shampoo smells amazing floral and Obliphica scent. The dry shampoo itself is virtually undetectable in my dark hair after rubbing it in. This product keeps my tresses looking clean and smelling great at all times. It also adds some volume to my flat hair. It smells so good, when my boyfriend and I started dating he thought it was an amazing perfume. My styling tools are also Amika. I went to the Amika booth at a beauty show one year and just fell in love with all the procutcts they offer. It's a small brand but it defeats the big name competitors in quality. -Favorite hair mask is a combination of a few popular ones on the market. I mix Moroccan Oil Repair Mask with L'anza Keratin Healing Oil Mask and a few drops of Paul Mitchell Marula Oil Treatment. It's heaven on my tresses. I use it once a week. My hair is quite long, and a little damaged from going blonde a while back so it needs all the deep conditioning love it can get. -Becca Moonstone Highlighter is my current favorite highlighter. I also have a Stila Dancing With The Stars Limited Edition from last year that I use for a more dramatic going out look. I channel my inner Amrezy and keep applying even after I think I'm done for that extra dramatic glow.
-The best eyeliner I use for my waterline lower lash line is Mally Beauty Evercolor Waterproof liner in brown. Then I use the previously mentiontioned elf smudger brush with my creashe eye shadow color to smoke out my lower lash line. I use black liquid or gel liner on my top lid and typically do some type of cat eye or winged liner, so I find brown on the lower waterline looks softer than black. This eyeliner does not smudge, it is creamy, and applies like a dream.
-House of Lashes Boudoir Lash and Ardell Double Up Whispies are my two favorite lashes to wear on a daily basis. House of Lashes are on a whole different level quality wise than any lash you can buy at drugstores.
