Get The Look: Vixen Kiss

This look is a twist on the traditional fall, dark, vampy, look. It's dark, it's glamarous, and it's sexy. One of my best kept secrets over the years was the product I used to get glitter lips. I used to be the worst; one of the girls who would pretend she forgot where it was from rather than telling them and risking everyone copying it. I am now coming clean to you guys on the secret to any glitter lip color. In this tutorial I will tell you exactly how to get this Vixen Kiss look.

First things first, I filled in my eyebrows with the Benefit Instant Brow Pencil. Normally I am extremely loyal to my Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products, but I love how fast and easy using this was, and how nice looking my eyebrows came out, in a fraction of the time. Then I combed them through with a spoolie brush.

Next I primed my eyes with Lorac Eyeshadow Primer. I set the entire lid with the shade Foxy from Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. It is also the light shade you see on my lid. It is an almost white color, but because I am so pale, it is very similar in shade to my skin. Set your primer with a shade close in color to your skin, and choose a brighter cream color for your lid. Next I took the color Blackout from the same palette and with a E40 Tapered Blending brush did a basic two color smoke out. I added some winged liner with Inglot liquid liner, and lined my inner waterline with mally liner in brown. Then i took my elf smudger brush and connected the same Blackout shadow to the wing. To top off my eyes I added my favorite lashes from House of Lashes, The Boudoir Lashes.

My foundation used here was Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Foundation. I covered my under eye circles with Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer. I applied and blended them out with a damp Beauty Blender. I will even go as far as to say the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer is a Holy Grail Product. I prefer it to high end concealers such as the Urban Decay Naked and even Nars Concealer, and it's a fraction of the cost. I set/baked with Ben Nye Neutral Set. I did slight contouring with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit, but mainly I did the contour with Milani Powder Blush in Tea Rose. This blush has the cutest packaging/presentation, and is also another great drug store find. Sprayed my face with Mac Fix+ and set with Urban Decay Setting Spray.

The star of this look is the dark glitter lips. The base lipstick used here is the Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick in Unicorn Blood. It is a very dark vampy red on its own. It is such a beautiful color, check it out if you already havent. Next I applied the Eye Kandy Cosmetics Sprinkles Glitter in Rasberry Blast. I applied it with the brush it came with and the liquid adhesive as well. So that is exactly how I created this Vixen Kiss makeup look.
