So this is my somewhat neutral makeup. It is still dramatic, and I can't stay away from smoking out my eyes, but I wanted the focus to be a killer highlight and sharp contour. So please read on for a step by step on how to achieve this look.

First things first, I filled in my eyebrows with the ABH Dip Brow Pomade and an angled brush, followed by combing through with a spoolie brush to achieve a more natural look. I carved them out with concealer for a cleaner, sharper look. I finished it off by setting them with ABH Clear Brow Gel.
Next I primed my eyes with Lorac Eyeshadow Primer and set with a light shadow, similar in color to my skin. Setting the primer with a powder makes for easier blending when I move onto the rest of my shadows.
To highlight my brow bone I used the shade Chic using the E70 brush. Next I used the shade Heirloom which is supposed to be a dark purple, although it appeared more black and a Sigma E45 brush to create the extended smoke out line in my crease. My crease shade Pink Champage unfortunately was not as pigmented as I would have liked, so I sprayed a flat shadow brush with some Mac Fix + and then packed it on to my lid. This step was necessary to get that pink sparkle shade.
Lined my eyes with Inglot Gel liner and a Sgma E06 which is a winged liner brush that makes it easier to get those nice crisp clean wings. Finished off my eyes by popping on some House of Lashes Boudoir Lashes and using some mascara to blend my real lashes into the falsies.
My lower lashline I lined with the Mally eyeliner in brown. I know lining inner bottom rims makes the appereance of smaller eyes so I use brown to make it less harsh. I then used the same Heirloom shade on my e.l.f. Smudger brush to smoke out my lower lash line and toped off with a coat of mascara.
The star of the show is the overdone highlight. Started out by applying my foundation with a damp beauty blender in a stippling manner. Then I corrected and concealed any imperfections before baking my face and setting with Ben Nye Neutral Set translucent powder. The reason for this being is like I said when priming the eyes, the primer is a cream and makes it difficult to blend a powder on top it just stays where applied so need a powder base for powder products.
Started my contour using the Anastasia Contour kit. I lightened up under my eyes with the banana powder which helps counteract purple undertones. I use the medium cool tone to contour with because I am so pale and the others either look muddy or orange on me. I like to think of contouring as spanx for the face. As someone with chubby cheeks and a weak jawline I am able to manipulate the shadows to slim my face and nose and make my jaw appear more prominent.
Then I take the beauty blender and dab on the Nyx highlight, now this is a liquid highlight I am applying over the powder, contradicting what I mentioned before, but sometimes you can break rules to achieve the results you want. I dab this highlight high on my cheekbones and then set it with the Becca Moonstone highlight. This is what creates for the extreme highlight. Setting a highlight with a highlight gives it a multiplied dramatic effect.
To finish this look I applied Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick in I'm Nude which I believe is the most beautiful shade. Then I spray my face once with MAC fix + to get rid of the cakey look. I follow this up with the Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray to keep my makeup in place and looking perfect all day/night.
Hope you guys enjoyed this look. I will be back next week with some more fall looks. Unfortunately the products I ordered back in September still hasn't shipped. And I've been waiting on ABH to process my order I ordered 20 days ago and finally ship it to me. That would be grand.
