Get The Look: Gilded Fall Glamour

The Morphe 35O palette is the perfect fall eyeshadow palette. Unfortunately, everyone else agrees making it almost impossible to get your hands on. I purchased this palette when it relaunched on September 30th and it sold out within four hours after being out of stock for months beforehand too. I didn't even receive it until the last days of October. It is so high in demand but I now believe that this palette is worth the wait. The pigmentation on this is so rich, especially for a $20 palette. It contains both matte and shimmer shades. I used this palette exclusively for my eyeshadow look acheived here.

Because these shadows have no names or way of distinction, I will just use the general color terms. All of the colors compliment each other so you can experiment and create a similar look choosing your own colors.
I started by priming my eyes with Lorac Eyeshadow Primer. After waiting about two minutes, I set it with the lightest shade all over my lid. Setting primer with shadow makes it easier later on to blend the other shadows you will apply. Next, I highlighted my brow bone with a very pale pink shimmer color. I used a tan brown shade create a transition shade, before going in with a dark shimmery red color in my crease. I continued to build depth in the crease with various other darker colors including a shimmer dark dark brown. Next I brushed the matte bright orange as a base for the shimmer copper orange I applied on top to make sure it popped. Lastly, I used a rich antique gold color in my inner corner. With the gold, copper, orange, red, and darker shades, I got the feeling of a flame or even a Phoenix.
Topped them off with House of Lashes Iconic lash. It is a very dramatic lash that starts short in the inner eye and lengthens and thickens to the outer corner. No liner was used in this look because sometimes liner can take up too much of the lid and I wanted all the focus to be on the shadow work.

I received some beautiful boho handmade jewelry from a lovely etsy shop called Happiness Brand. I am wearing a beautiful wooden bracelet with a statement stone. The name of this bracelet is Mountain Mama. It goes great with all my fall outfits and the orange tones in the wood pulled the orange shades in the shadow out.

I just came back from Puerto Rico where my burn actually turned me slightly tanner but I am still as pale as a corpse. I finished off this look by applying Loreal Infallible Pro Matte liquid foundation with a damp beauty blender. I have tried almost every high end/luxury brand foundations because I have sensitive skin that can be acne prone if I use the wrong products. I can honestly say this drug store foundation rivals some of the greats. If you are on a budget, definitely buy it, and splurge on the original Beauty Blender, instead of a knock off to apply even the cheapest foundations flawlessly. I did a heavy contour using the darkest shade in the Anastasia Beverly Hills powder contour kit to bring some warmth to my face as it is almost a terra cota shade.
I also received a new Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuinator in Riviera from them as a gift and it doesnt show up as obvious in pictures, but it is the perfect every day highlight and even won the place of my Favorite Product of the Month for November. I blurred the lines between contour and highlight with Nars powder blush in Orgasm because it has some peachy tones in it as well.
On my lips I originally applied Jeffree Star liquid lipstick in Celebrity Skin, which is a darker mauve like nude. It was perfect for a going out look. I was also gifted 9 lip glosses from ABH so I used a beautiful gold shade called Gilded over the liquid lipstick. The shade on its own is literally golden. It might be too much on its own, I will keep experimenting with it in more looks. What I found was after wearing it 7 hours not only had it stayed on perfectly and wasn't a sticky mess as my long hair blew in the wind, it eventually absorbed into Celebrity Skin around hour 8 and gave it a sheen finish to a matte liquid lipstick still looking very nice.
