My Top 10 Must Have Hair Products
Moroccan Oil Original Treatment
The original argan Moroccan Oil. This oil smells amazing and argan oil is one of the only oils to actually 100% absorb into the hair strand. I am left with beautifully soft and manageable hair.
Ouai Treatment Masque
An amazing deep conditioning repairing hair mask that makes my damaged hair feel healthy again. I tried this for the first time a little over a month ago. I got a sample of it from Ouai like the weekend before they launched. It smells really good and is made my the Kardashians hair stylist.
Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo
Hands down best dry shampoo on the market. Not only does this dry shampoo really soak up any excess oil and not leave a gray cast to my hair, but it doesn’t smell like jet fuel like many dry shampoos do. My boyfriend thought this and the Pureology Dry Conditioner was my perfume for the first 6 months of our relationship. That’s how amazing it smells.
Pureology Dry Conditioner
The first dry conditioner I tried, and my favorite dry conditioner to this day. It smells amazing and freshens up my hair. Only con is the can is a little small and I go through it quickly. I go to great lengths to make my hair soft feeling.
Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask
I was using the Moroccan Oil Repair mask for years and tried a sample of this mask I got in a travel set. I have never turned back since trying this mask. I was using repair because my hair is damaged, but it turns out my hair was craving even more moisture than the products I was providing it with. This is such an amazing mask that I see and feel results with right away.
Pravana Nevo Intense Therapy Leave In Treatment Spray
Speaking of moisture products, this is actually a pretty lightweight moisturizing leave in spray. This and the last product both have Intense in the name, but the mask is pretty heavy and this leave in spray is like enhanced water.
Redken Straight Lissage 12 Align Straightening Balm
I typically try to rock my natural texture or use heatless methods to style my hair. When I want my hair to look great and straight, I blowdry it. When I say I blowdry it, I don’t use my concentrator and round brush and blow my hair out. My hair is generally straight ish and using this straightening balm in my hair before I literally just rough blow dry it has it looking like I did give myself a blowout. This product also protects my hair heat wise and has a hold 12x stronger than water to keep my hair straight as it gets slight waves with time. Also this smells amazing one of my favorite smells in the world is this product.
Matrix Oil Wonders Flash Blow Dry Oil
This is another product I realllllllly like and wish I blew dry my hair more often for the chance to utilize this product more. I said above I rarely use heat and blow dry my hair. My hair is extremely thick and takes a while to blow dry (hence why I don’t have the patience to blow out my own hair.) This product just takes a few sprays in my hair and somehow, I don’t know how it works, but my blow drying time is cut in half. MAGIC!
Tangle Teaser Brush
This small funky little brush is such a staple in my hair’s upkeep. It’s not your typical hair brush shape or design it actually closer resembles a jelly bean or something. It has these tiny little plastic bristles that can gently untangle any knot. I use this on my wet hair and my hair in general because I baby my hair and don’t want to cause any breakage or ripping. You can also use this to tease your hair and back comb and get some crazy volume AND be able to easily comb it out at the end of the night using this too. No more waking up with dreadlocks from not combing out my teasing. Also have a small gold one to carry in my purse.
Pureology 21 Benefits Treatment Spray
This is a good leave in conditioner/detangler/21 different benefits spray. You can look up all the 21 different things it does on your own time. All I want to tell you is this product works amazingly. I also love how it helps with the porosity of my hair. Overall my hair is just better since using this product. Definitely worth taking a look at.
