Step By Step Cream Contour
Start with foundation and concealer already applied to face. Use a cream or liquid formula if using a cream contour. If you are using powder foundation, use powder contour.
Apply A highlight shade ideally 2 shades lighter than your skin shade to areas and high points of the face you want to draw attention to.
PRO TIP: Apply under eye and cheekbones in triangle shape to drag down and minimize look of dark under eye circles.
Apply a contour shade ideally 2 shades darker than your skin shade to areas you want to minimize or help carve them out. I place this shade under my cheekbones, along my jawline (to help my face appear thinner and minimize at risk double chin,) to slim my nose a bit, and a tiny amount on my forehead.
I then take an oval brush and blend everything together. I always drag the contour shades upwards to prevent looking like a five o'clock shadow.
Set the cream products on your face with a powder. I use a translucent setting powder to aid in the switching of product textures on my face. If you do not set the cream/liquid with a powder, if you apply bronzer it will stick exactly where you brushed it and can't blend it out.
Touch up or accentuate even further with a powder contour or bronzer on top for a more dramatic contour.
Add a shimmer highlight where you'd like. I only apply it to the top of my cheekbones.
